What we collect

Nothing personally identifying. This site has no accounts, no login, no newsletter, no forms, and no email capture. Visit anonymously.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics, which aggregates page views and Core Web Vitals data without cookies and without tracking individual users. No personal information is collected or stored.

Advertising

The site displays ads via Google AdSense (post-approval). Google may set personalized-ad cookies subject to its own policy. You can manage ad personalization at myadcenter.google.com (external site). Google's advertising privacy policy is at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Cookies

First-party: none. Third-party: only those set by Google AdSense (if active). You can block these in your browser settings without affecting site function.

SourdoughHydration is operated by Paulo de Vries (Netherlands). Inquiries: contact@editnative.com. We process personal data only for the purposes listed on this page, and never sell, rent, or share user data with third parties outside the stated analytics and advertising providers.

Your rights under GDPR

As a site operated from the EU, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation 2016/679). EU and UK visitors have the following rights regarding personal data we process:

  • Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Erasure("right to be forgotten") — request deletion of your data.
  • Restriction — request we pause processing while a dispute is resolved.
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest (including AdSense personalization).
  • Data portability — request a machine-readable export.
  • Complaint — lodge a complaint with the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or your local supervisory authority.

Lawful basis

Processing lawful bases: (a) legitimate interest for aggregate analytics (understanding site use without identifying individuals); (b) consent for personalized advertising via Google AdSense — you can withdraw consent at myadcenter.google.com; (c) legitimate interest for replying to inquiries you send us by email.

Retention

Analytics data: aggregated, retained as long as it provides product value (no individual records). Contact-email exchanges: retained 30 days after the conversation closes, then deleted. AdSense data: per Google's retention policy (linked above).
